Hello,

when I saw this fly in july in the austrian alps I first thought about Trypteroptera punctulata. But it was much to big for it - about 10mm. Now I found Euthycera chaerophylli in the gallery, which seems to fit rather well.

Is this correct? Or what else is it?

Thanks,
Michael

It looks the same, but isn't Tephritidae..it is Sciomyzidae, so your heading is wrong...Frown.Smile

Hello both,

thank you for your replies. Tephritidae was of course nonsense - for Trypteroptera as for Euthycera.

Greetings,
Michael
