Looks like a Phryxe sp. to me but (as always) it would be nice to see other angles Smile

Well, it depends on the genus ... but whichever angle you have then the one we need will be the one you were going for just before it flew off! Wink

Phryxe are a bit anonymous-looking but I'd hope to see erect apical scutellar bristles and if you wanted a species ID then you'd have to show the head from the side and be a bit lucky! Wink When I am trying to photograph tachinids in the field then I try for lots of dorsal and lateral shots - just take loads of photos and fill the card Grin
