Might it be possible to find an nearer determination for this fly?
I found the animal in Bonn at the edge of some kind of pine-forest glade, the 09.05.09. It was sitting on grass and measured aproximatively 8mm. Could it be a Scarcophagidae, maybe the genus Nychia? I quite lack of experinece concernig dipterans...
If some one could tel me more about my beautiful black fly, I would be very thankful.

Greetings,
Svenja
