Hi, found this little black Nematocera(?) species inside my bedroom window beginning of May. Location: Oslo, Norway
Which family is it?

Ceratopogonidae...Biting Midge I think.

Hmmm... do they fly as high as 4th floor? I've never been bitten at this height - but this is a male i guess.

We get them at the top of the highest hill in Shetland which is 1400ft +, so I don't think height is an issue.
