I found this fly on the compose in the garden.
Its about 3mm long ( no including the wings ).
Cambridgeshire UK - October.

Hi!

Once Paul identified a Drosophila with such a darkened cross vein as D. immigrans for me. Without guarantee, I'm a non expert...

Darkened tips of longitudinal veins are the give-away for this species.
