I found this brachypterous sciarid on the 26th of March 2009 in Barcelos, Portugal. Is there any hope on a genus identification?

Are there many brachypterous genera/species like this one?

Thanks paquiSmile. So there is the possibility that this sciarid belongs to a species that is, in most of the cases, fullwinged...interesting.

This female specimen looks very interesting, because it is completely black. But nothing can be said about the genus without a microscopic slide mount. There are brachpterous species in many genera. Do you have information about the size?
