 Tephritidae?

Hello, This little fly flew on my hand last week. It happened in the south of the Netherlands. The fly was very small, I guess about 5 mm long. I suppose it's a Tephritidae, maybe Trypeta zoe? Regards Arno ArnovanStipdonk attached the following image:  [48.54Kb] |

It is certainly NOT a tephritid. My first impression was perhaps an Opomyza, but something tells me it is not. Judging from its telescopic ovipositor (if it is not a hindleg), it could be a tephritoid. Its wing pattern resemles that in some Oriental Herina (Ulidiidae Otitinae), but I do not know such a rufous Herina in Europe. The next guess it is a pallopterid... but I do not know such a pallopterid in Europe either. The last: Piophilidae Neottiophilinae - but also no such a pattern... Perhaps an opomyzid, indeed? Indeed a female of Geomyza sp. All seems to point to G. balachowskyi although I can't completely rule out G. hackmani.
