Looks like Hemyda vittata to me - I caught one yesterday and it is nearly always found in old forested habitats. Closely related to Cylindromyia. ![]() Are the vibrissae missing or just very very small? Edited by ChrisR on 15-07-2006 20:12 |

Hi Chris. In my key it is ideal for Phania vittata which I guess became now Hemyda vittata. The only problem was absence of long vibrissae. I've just found that it is not problem too, vibrissae was broken (not for me). So IDed! Thank you Chris. Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
