This Tachinidae was about 10 mm.
(Belgium, 15-09-2009).

I've never seen Chrysolina americana,C. sanguinolenta or Timarcha normanna in my garden. Could it also parasitize Timarcha tenebricosa or other Timarcha or Chrysolina ?

I'm not 100% sure but I'd say that it is *very* likely that it would attack any other similar species that live in similar habitats - tachinids are only very rarely species-specific.

I'd say that it's a wonderful opportunity for you to rear them out of any Chrysomelidae and discover new hosts! Wink
