5mm. It looks rather like Minettia plumicornis in the Gallery, but I can't see the striped eyes there. Am I in the right area?

This is not a species of Minettia - a lauxaniid yes. Where is this from? That would help a lot! |

This was in an ornamental park in North West England. The plant is an evergreen Lonicera, close to mature ivy (Hedera helix). Thank you both for your help  Stephen Edited by Stephen R on 15-09-2009 09:09 |
