5mm. It looks rather like Minettia plumicornis in the Gallery, but I can't see the striped eyes there. Am I in the right area?

This is not a species of Minettia - a lauxaniid yes. Where is this from? That would help a lot! |

This was in an ornamental park in North West England. The plant is an evergreen Lonicera, close to mature ivy (Hedera helix). Thank you both for your help ![]() Stephen Edited by Stephen R on 15-09-2009 09:09 |
