Fantastic ... truly a flying jewel! I found a pic of Graptomyza dolichocera Kertesz, 1914 on the web that looks very similar. |

Very nice pic of a very nice fly... It is surely a Graptomyza, but there are many undescribed species and the described once are not well revised in the Oriental region... so I would not be to sure about the species identification.. Cheers Martin Martin Hauser |

This is the type of the genus, Graptomyza longirostris Wiedemann, 1820. Absolutely beautiful shot!
