Hello, I've just tried out my new magnifying lens and made some pictures of a very small fly - body size approx. 2mm. I have no idea what it is but somebody from a german forum gave me the hint that it could be from the Piophilidae family. Does anybody have an idea? Thanks in advance Wahrmut waso attached the following image: ![]() [97.87Kb] Edited by waso on 20-08-2009 23:06 |

It isn't Piophilida. I'd say it is a tiny Chloropidae. Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
