Big bee-like fly(?)

I came across this big (15-20mm body) fly(?) on the west coast of Norway (Hordaland) in mid August. I think its a fly, although it might be a wasp..? Anyone recognize it?

Actually, the hairs on anterior part of thorax are black, so it should be Laphria ephippium. Theo |
