hi flyforum, Today I found a Tachinidae under the livingroomwindow. Rather strongly and also a bit 'Sarcophaga spec.'-like, but in my opinion it's a Tachinidae. And with my low-knowledge of Tachinidae I say it's kind of Phorocera sp. ? size: 10mm place: Amsterdam, indoors I' publish some detailed pictures of this fly beneath: Robert Heemskerk attached the following image: ![]() [186.72Kb] Edited by Robert Heemskerk on 16-08-2009 12:29 Greeting, Robert Heemskerk ---- WWW: http://robertheem...ndedag.htm --- |

Yes. Hardly any Tachinid has those bristles on the parafacialia near the lower end of the eye, and those that do are very obvious (Peleteria) Theo |
