Hello, this 8mm fly is from july from a forest near the river Ahr in western germany. The photos are so bad that I have no hope for genus or species. But perhaps can the family be identified? Sapromyzidae are Lauxaniidae, nowadays. This might be Phaonia pallida, but one of the muscid specialists should confirm that (they are not really my cup of tea).
