Hello again;-)

Today i photographed this very, very little robberfly in Germany (hessen). I'm not sure wich species my photo shows. I think 'Tolmerus cingulatus' or 'Tolmerus pyrarga'.

Who can help?

thanx for answers;-)

greetings
Markus

Hi Markus,

this is Tolmerus atricapillus. Do you have again the date and the exact location for me?

Greetings, Danny

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
