Hello,

certainly a male of the Choerades fimbriata - group. There are two species in this group in Central Europe (fimbriata and fulva). I have not studied fulva yet by myself, so I cannot confirm Choerades fimbriata by 100 % but it is the most probable species.

Greetings, Danny Wolff

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
