Beautiful red eyed fly from Malaysia

Found this fly on a rotting tree trunk in a jungle/park in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Please help on ID if possible..thanks Smile

You can add it simply: go to 'Submit photo for gallery' option on the left side, choose the file to upload (no spaces or special characters in filename) choose the family (Platystomatidae) and you can also write a small summary (eg date, place).
