I found this yesterday, c.3.5mm. Looks like Coenosia (Muscidae), but I can't quite fit it to anything in the gallery. There seem to be quite a few UK species. Can anyone identify this one? And the prey?

Why not Coenosia tigrina female? I always look for the brown "knees"... |

Coenosia is correct, but it is not C. tigrina. I can't say more with this picture.
