I took a photo on 4th July in Silgueiros - VISEU - PORTUGAL with Nikon Coolpix 3100.

Wonderful specimen of wasp. All wasp is black but eyes has a little yellow. Impressive wasp. Found near a pondle.

Sphecid wasp? But which of them? ID please.. Smile
But it not seems a sphecid... so what can it be?

The eye has a strange thing in center... that I don't know what is it... Please let me know.
