Unlikely to be bohemani in London but possibly cristata? I'd like to see more angles ... or a specimen ![]() Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London. |

He Jaakko, the topcel is petiolated ! Have a close look ! Moreover, the vertex is rather broad. It really is Estheria, and Chris is right, it is cristata Theo |

Theo is again right... I haven't seen this species before! It should be about the same size as ferruginea, scary if I've ignored this one on the field! Jaakko Edited by Jaakko on 22-07-2009 20:40 |

I've seen a few in my area but they are surprisingly anonymous-looking until you get a close look at the head and see their bristles ... then they become easy ![]() Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London. |

Well, they have rather long legs, like most Dexiinae, so you will pick them out no doubt, Jaakko Theo |
