The size would match Phytobia better than Agromyza.

Hi Kahis / Paul So it is Agromyzidae...Phytobia or Agromyza. Well if you put the two together you get Phytomyza which is the type on my Checklist. There are three listed; P.angelica, P.lonicera and P.syngenisiae. Don't know if that is of any help. If size matters, I'd say this was probably closer to 3mm than 4mm, hard to remember, I think I tend to over-estimate. Regards and thanks for your replies.....Roger |
