Hello!

These < 2 mm flies (no better photos possible) populate some "forgotten" bananas in our kitchen (northwest Germany). The distinctive black ending lets me think of Drosophila melanogaster (?).

No way to tell whether it is melanogaster or simulans from these pictures.
