Seeing a lot of these flies in the garden at the moment often hanging about on flowers. Taken Yesterday south coast UK- about 4mm body length. Can only guess at it being a Tachinid ?? Brian V. ![]() Edited by LordV on 10-07-2009 07:39 |

Oh, the topcell is stalked, that is why. The mouth margin is projecting, contra Leucostoma Theo |
