I was photographing a little yellow Collembola when this fly pounced on it and proceeded to eat it. Frown
Looking at the front femur spines I think it may be some species of Norellia...Right or Wrong?

Hi Stephane
Whichever one it turns out to be, it is unrecorded in Shetland. Wonder if you have seen the post I put in earlier which I flagged as S.litorea....I now think that may be one of these also....I would be thankful if you would check it out too.
Regards Roger
