Hi

This psychodid was spotted near a small waterfall. It was possible to testify that this fly was literally near the water so the droplets could "beat" the fly. It was near Limnophora riparia with the same behaviour. And there were some Athyroglossa sp. around.

I can catch these because they are rahter common, but now I'm not sure if they keep there.

Catch as many of these as you can, stick them in 70% alcohol, send them to me and I might give you a name...

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
