In fact, cylindrica remains an extremely complicated heap of host-plant races, subspecies and cryptic species without any good approaches to solve. I am not sure that the flies on Centaurea and Cirsium are not different species. That is why I prefer to consider them as an "aggr."[egation], until somebody, perhaps Severin, finds a way to fix it all... Edited by Nosferatumyia on 24-07-2010 11:27 Val |
