Hello!

This isn't a June beetle (Rhizotrogus marginipes) and not a Summer chafer (Amphimallon solstitialis).

Is this Rhizotrogus cicatricosus? It crawled this Tuesday here in SE Saxony, Germany.

Thanks and Greetings

To exclude Amphimallon, try to count antennal segments (I just can't make out): 9 in Amphimallon, 10 in Rhizotrogus.
If 10 segments, why not a Miltotrogus? (it seems that pronotum, elytrae, and pygidium are all covered with hairs, and base of pronotum is not bordered).
