Does the eye pattern at the top of the eyes make this Tabanus miki rather than Tabanus bromius? A medium-sized horsefly found today near Woburn Estate, Bedfordshire, UK. Thanks for your help. Stephen Plummer attached the following image: ![]() [112.78Kb] |

Yes bromius no doubt miki male has the head much larger and with long hairs on occiput Theo |
