judging from the wings, this specimen seems to have gone through a lot. with flies like these, i don't even dare to put them into a family; this one is from a bushy area of Cologne, Germany. probably about 5mm long, but i could be wrong. cheers! s. sarefo attached the following image:  [77.31Kb] |
