Hi,
Recently I spotted on our housewall a moving thin something about 1 mm long and thought of a mini spider, but to my surprise the camera, hardly able to catch it, depicted a tiny fly with short wings. It had a defect antenna, but the wings seemed not to be artificially deformed, so I suppose this is normal for that species. Can you help me, from the poor photos, to find a family and a name?
Many thanks, Sundew

Looks like Stiphrosoma sabulosum (Anthomyzidae) - would be good to have these in the gallery to complement Walter's pictures of the macropterous form.

Oh - you are so fast and so unisonous! Another new family for me, that's great. The little one will find its way to the gallery.
Regards, Sundew (very grateful)
