It's an anthomyid, not a tachinid

Hello, Tony Irwin gave us following criterion to rule out Anthomyia pseudo-pluvialis. The real A. pluvialis has a channel between the lateral spot and the alar spot. In your picture, it's clear that both spots are melted together. Pierre Duhem |
