Not Hydrotaea. It looks like Thricops, but I'm not sure.

Thanks Stephane These all look very similar to me...I know the Abdomen is marked differently to my other posting..but to me it's just a black fly....how anyone manages to determine between them will remain a mystery to me...Thanks for trying. Regards Roger |
