Hello,

I think this is Sepsis punctum: reddish front part of the abdomen and yellow-red legs.

Is this correct?

Hi Pierre.
With such a good quality image you don't need to care about colour of leg and abdomen, which is not bad patterns to ID, but not always 100% reliable.
On your photo is clearly visible that there are only one pair of dc setas.
In Europe it may be only one species - S. punctum.
I add my yesterdays photo of Sepsis cynipsea, you can see, that it has 2pair dc setas (marked 1 and 2).

Obviously, you have more documentation than I have. I'm only a newbie in dipterology and I don't find any accessible documentation.
