Hi,
This representative of Plecoptera I saw in an nature reserve east of Berlin in April. As this taxon is new to me I would like to ask if an expert could deliver a genus name.
Many thanks, Sundew

The cross in the wings means Nemouridae. I can't go further than family.

We can exclude Protonemura (sic!). Likely Nemoura but this is a very difficult group. Nemouridae and other families are badly in need of revision. An expert started this revision in Hungary, mostly with nemouridae and mostly from species of Hungary and Balkan. He described several new species mostly by redescribing already known species and giving names to what were wrongly treated as others. Genitalia are always needed for ID, and most times the dorsal part of abdomen also. There is even more confusion with Perlidae: those can only be determined by the shape and sculpture of EGG!

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
