Hi, this relatively large species was found 680 m ASL, Bukk mountains.

It is not only dark, it is a male as well.

That makes life much more difficult

Would it help to preparate the genitalia (and lighten them in NaOH)?

Can someone tell me what to do with Therevids if I want an ID? Store them in Alcohol? Pin them but cut ott terminalia and photograph it under microscope? Or the only chance is to send it to a specialist Smile ?
