I found many of these feeding on flowers. They are smaller than the Usia aenea I usually see. They must belong to a different species. location: Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal date: 21/05/2009 |

Can't see enough to be sure but i suspect these are Usia engeli Paramonov, need to see ventral hairs on femora, long or short? |

Think it must be engeli, to confirm check aedeagus which is very distinctive.

Thank you for the photo David, but I don't have the equipment to see the genitalia of so small specimens, neither the knowledge to remove it. |
