Hi, In April there were lots of Sphaerocerids in a wet place of a nature reserve east of Berlin. I know it is a difficult taxon, and the quality of the pics is not very good, but perhaps subfamily or even genus is recognizable. Thanks, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: ![]() [149.31Kb] |

wing seems Copromyzinae to me, no idea about genera (no good keys) |

Collect some specimens next year and I'd be happy to identify them to species level for you. Then we have a reasonably good idea what this one might be as well.
