I thought that this was a Phryxe at first but now I think it looks more like Aplomya confinis.

We need to see the tail to be sure, but it is not inconsistent with Aplomyia. THeo |

Thanks. I can't find an angle to show us the relative lengths of the tergites but it is a site where I have caught Aplomya in previous years and it looks fairly similar ![]() Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London. |
