Jari has sent me some tiny flies from Finland, which I don't think are tachinids because they don't have a subscutellum ... but I can't rule out the very small atypical tachinids without subscutellums because I have no material to compare them with. ![]() first the male... Either Melanomyia or Anthracomyia melanoptera, depending on size and scutellar bristles (both Calliphoridae). Theo |
