This should definitely be Tipula (Tipula) vittata Meig. (female). Notice whitish streek for almost the entire length of the wing and broad deep brown velvety lateral stripes on the abdomen. A cool cranefly indeed ![]() Cheers Walther |

Hello Jonas, I would say Tipula vittata (subgenus: yamatotipula), but I am not an expert. It may be a species which looks like this one and whose picture is not on the web. Regards, Marie-Christine |
