hi flyforum, Must be a Pollenia sp. I think.. Obvious are the redish/braunish veins in the wing ![]() I didn't see these colloured wingveins before at the Pollenia sp. I watched.. Is it common? What about Onesia? Hmm...dunno. Pollenia is probably right. This fly is old and very rubbed, and the tessellations are very strong. Pollenia often get that reddish tint to their wings too. Edited by Susan R Walter on 19-04-2009 10:46 Susan |
