The scutellum & bristles certainly look OK for Phryxe - orange scutellum and raised & crossed apicals. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be Phryxe but Theo might prove me wrong

And thank you once again! I'm thrilled that I could reach a conclusion that makes sense, since we are talking about a greyish tachinid that looks like so many others (at least to me ). |
