Hello, this mite with a lenght of ~9mm (inc. wings) is from friday from a fagus-forest near Düsseldorf (germany). Is this a Cecidomyiidae? And the genus cannot be identified from the photo? Thanks, Michael Michael Becker attached the following image: ![]() [65.79Kb] |

That size, MIGHT be Cecidomyia.
