I realized now that it could be an Anthomyia sp., so I updated the title. It reminds me of A. confusanea, A. liturata, and A. monilis. But mainly liturata. Click here to see the image in a bigger size. Edited by Del on 16-03-2009 00:17 Del |

It is not any of those- the first two have slightly clouded cross veins, and monilis has the central scutal stripe continued onto scutellum. Sorry I can't suggest a species |
