Hello! Does this male fly belong to genus Mydaea? Found yesterday in low vegetation, Ostwestfalen/Germany. Thanks in advance! The females don't have orange scutellums? I wish I knew! But it is reason why I wait same genus, not species. Anyway, let's wait for experts altougether

As for my fly - under microscop A clearly reach wing margin - damned Anthomyiidae.
