Hi, this is the last one from last summer. An Anthomyiidae again I believe. Loviisa, Finland 2.7.2008.

I don't know this chaetotaxy from Muscidae legs. I think it is an Anthomyiidae, and it looks well to this one.
Just a guess...

It is not Hydrophoria divisa, which does not have an anteroventral setae on mid tibia, and yellowish tibiae. Presumably the whitish horizontal line on fore tibia is a posteroventral bristle catching the light, in which case I know of no anthomyiid with this very long bristle; likewise the long posterior seta on hind tibia is unusual.

Ok, thank You. Maybe I will add this picture to the endless "strange creatures" list. As far the specimen is not collected and I have only this picture, it may be impossible to get further. Nice looking fly anyway Smile
