Could be a Heleomyzidae for all I know. Can it be identified from these photos? If I think correct the orange thing on head is the ptilinum (inflation of this membrane help to emerge puparium by fly, after some time this membrane is withdrawn by right muscle). It is very important character of flies (about 80 families) classified into Schizophora group. |
