Hi together, this phorid I´ve caught in Malaise-trap in January 2009. Size: 2,9 mm. Location: Blaubeuren, Southwest-Germany, montane deciduous woodland. Temperature was between -14°C and +3°C. Because of the season and the eye-catching mouthparts, I´m confident of getting ID :-) Ralph Edit 06.02.2009: ..."almost certainly TRIPHLEBA ADMIRABILIS Schmitz"... (H. Disney) Edit 06.02.2009 I´ve sent the specimens to S. Prescher. She determined it as Triphleba flexipalpis Schmitz. By the way: I´ve caught it several times from mid-October to January.
