Hi, this one was found in a forest, N-E Hungary, August. Any chance to name the genus?

I think this is more likely to be Tachinidae, but Theo or Chris usually look at Sarcophagidae posts, so you should get an answer from them anyway.

not Sarcophagidae.

my first impression is Nilea (Tachinidae).

There is little to go on. Pity we can't see the palps.
There is clearly only one pair of reclinate orbital setae, that's why the suggestion Nilea makes sense. However, the bristles on the facial ridge seem to go up very high and the third antennal segment is quite elongate....


Need to check this one.
